Innovation Commons - One-stop Resource Centre

Under the Discovery-enriched Curriculum (DEC), every student will be able to make an original discovery or invention during his/her study at CityU. To expand the University's capacity to bring intellectual property created by students to the marketplace together with the alignment of CityU DEC 2.0, a one-stop service centre for innovation and entrepreneurship - Innovation Commons was established collaboratively by the Library, the School of Law, the Knowledge Transfer Office, and the Office of Education Development and Gateway Education in September 2014.

Innovation Commons is an important part of the CityU Innopreneurship Ecosystem. Staffed by KTO, this is where entrepreneurial resources and tools are introduced to you. Here, you can find all resources related to innovation and entrepreneurship, on campus or outside, including events, courses, seminars, training programs, community workshops, business plan competitions, school and government funding sources, expert assistance in IP and venture capital financing, and find other teammates/partners, mentors, investors.

We are happy to support you in leveling up your innovative ideas and realizing your dreams. At Innovation Commons, all critical skills of finding and implementing innovative ideas are available for you to face the unknown challenges in the future. So, get in touch with us now!
